Job Summary
The Machine Operator is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of production equipment while adhering to safety and quality standards. Operators must wear appropriate safety gear, including hairnets, beard nets, and eye protection, to prevent contamination. Each machine follows unique Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and operators must adjust their duties based on specific orders and shifts. Operators are required to check glue levels at the start of each shift and before every break, as well as monitor paper quality to ensure it is free from contaminants and folds properly.
Responsibility
- Safety Compliance: Wear required safety gear, including hairnets, beard nets, and eye protection, before entering the production area to prevent contamination.
- Machine Operation: Operate production equipment in accordance with specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for each machine. Adjust operations as needed based on production orders and shift requirements.
- Glue Level Monitoring: Check glue levels at the start of each shift and before every break to ensure adequate supply for production.
- Paper Quality Inspection: Continuously monitor paper quality to ensure it is free from contaminants and is folding correctly during production.
- Machine Malfunction Reporting: Identify and report any machine malfunctions, such as oil leaks or mechanical issues, to the shift supervisor or maintenance personnel. Shut down the machine promptly if mechanical issues arise to prevent further damage. - Product Labeling and Dating: Ensure all products requiring labeling are correctly labeled and dated according to company guidelines.
