Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We’re seeking a Material Handler to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of our operations, helping us to cut aluminum extrusion for product kits. You'll have to move, inspect material, measure, and cut aluminum on the saw. You'll be required to use a tape measure, saws, drills, and various other tools. Hilo is mandatory to move the aluminum. All other tasks are assigned by the supervisor.
What You'll Be Doing
As a
Material Handler
, your core responsibilities will include:
● Measure, cut, and inspect aluminum using a saw machine.
● Move aluminum in the facility with a Hilo.
● Make sure the aluminum is up to standard and cut properly using tape measures, saws, drills, and other various hand tools.
In addition, you will also be expected to have other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
● Must have a valid driver's license.
● High school diploma or equivalent.
● Must have Hilo experience.
Skills:
● Ability to lift up to 60lbs.
● Ability to stand, bend, walk, lift and carry throughout the entire shift.
● Must be able to speak, read and write English.
