Job Title: Machine Operator
Muskegon, MI, 1st Shift, $14.50/hour
Job Summary
A Muskegon-based manufacturer specializing in trucking components and accessories is seeking Machine Operators for 1st Shift. In this role, you will support production by operating machinery, assembling parts, and ensuring quality standards are met. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with overtime available.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Load and unload various machines used in the production of truck and trailer components
- Maintain production pace to meet daily goals
- Perform repetitive tasks efficiently throughout the shift
- Follow work instructions, blueprints, and job travelers accurately
- Inspect parts for quality defects and ensure product standards are met
- Perform basic assembly using hand and power tools
- Complete daily preventative maintenance on equipment
- Prepare finished parts for shipment
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, repetitive environment
- Strong attention to detail
Skills:
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Experience working with hand and power tools
- Ability to operate multiple machines within a department
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
