Job Summary
The Machine Operator (also referred to as Production Operator) plays a critical role in this
team's
manufacturing operations. This position
is responsible for
safely operating roll-forming and related production equipment to manufacture high-quality aluminum and steel building products. Operators are expected to
maintain
production efficiency, perform quality checks, and package finished products while adhering to all safety and quality standards
What You'll Be Doing
As a

Operator
,
your core responsibilities will include:
- Operate roll-forming and production machinery in a safe and efficient manner
- Read and follow work orders, production schedules, and operating instructions
- Perform quality checks, including measuring products with a tape measure and verifying color and finish accuracy
- Use standard hand and power tools during setup, operation, and packaging
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet Quality Edge quality standards
- Package, stack, and prepare finished products as they are produced
- Accurately count materials and finished goods
- Perform regular lifting of materials and products ( approximately 40 –75 lbs.)
In addition, you will also be expected to
demonstrate
excellent attendance, work collaboratively as a part of the team, and adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines
.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Ability to regularly lift and move product weighing up to 40–75 lbs.
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Familiarity with metal products or roll-forming machinery
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to read work orders and follow written instructions
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Reliable attendance and strong safety mindset
Skills:
- Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
