Machine Operator
Montague, MI, 1st shift, $16.50 per hour
Job Summary
A local Montague facility is seeking Machine Operators to join their team! This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, operating machinery, and being part of a fast-paced production environment. Machine Operators
will be responsible for running automated production lines, performing in-process testing, and ensuring product quality standards are met.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Machine Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
- Running high-speed automated production lines
- Performing in-process testing and quality checks
- Setting up and adjusting machines for production runs
- Troubleshooting equipment issues
- Performing basic maintenance as needed
- Transporting materials within the facility
- Completing accurate production paperwork and documentation
- Following all company safety standards
What We’re Looking For
Preferred Qualifications:
- Mechanically inclined with good aptitude for working with machinery
- Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication)
- Able to follow written SOPs and complete accurate paperwork
Preferred Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Focused, self-motivated, and adaptable
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
