Job Summary
Monte Package Co. is seeking reliable, entry
‑
level Machine Operators to support production in the plastic packaging department. This role involves loading materials into machines, assisting operators with machine setup, and ensuring products are labeled correctly. Training is provided — we are looking for dependable individuals with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Load plastic packaging materials into machines for labeling.
- Assist machine operators with prepping equipment and maintaining workflow.
- Unload finished product from machines and stage for next steps.
- Perform basic quality checks to ensure labels and packaging meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all safety rules, PPE requirements, and production guidelines.
- Support production goals by working efficiently and communicating with the team.
Qualifications
- No experience required; training provided.
- Ability to lift up to 5 lbs and perform basic physical movements (bend, turn, twist, lift).
- Reliable attendance and transportation.
- Ability to work in a fast ‑ paced production environment.
- Must pass a 5 ‑ panel drug screen .
