Job Title: 2nd shift – Machine operator
Location: Portage, MI
Shift: 2PM to 10:30 PM Monday through Friday (Overtime as needed)
Pay: $14.50 per hour
Job Summary
Are you looking for a light‑lifting, steady position with a great schedule and located right on the bus line? We’re seeking a Molding Operator to join our team in Portage, MI. In this role, you’ll support daily production by operating molding machines, inspecting parts, and ensuring products are prepared for shipment.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Molding Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
● Operating molding machines safely and efficiently
● Inspecting molded parts for quality and accuracy
● Sorting, organizing, and preparing finished parts for the shipping area
● Following work instructions and production guidelines
● Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
● Communicating effectively with your team
● Other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications
● High School Diploma or GED
● Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
● Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
● Comfortable training with a buddy for the first 2 weeks
● Bus riders welcome; personal transportation preferred
● Desire to grow within the company
Skills
● Ability to lift 1–10 lbs repetitively and occasionally up to 50 lbs
● Strong attention to detail and hand dexterity for small part handling
● Good problem‑solving skills
● Ability to maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace
● Reliability and consistent attendance
