Job Summary
We're seeking a dependable  Machine Operator  to join a growing manufacturing team in Taylor, MI. This position is responsible for loading and unloading parts into production machines and conveyors, performing quality inspections using gauges, packaging finished products, and ensuring production goals are met safely and efficiently.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with manufacturing, machine operation, assembly, or production experience looking to grow their skills in an automotive manufacturing environment.
What You'll Be Doing
As a  Machine Operator , your core responsibilities will include:

Machine Operation

Load and unload parts into production machines and conveyors, start machine cycles, monitor equipment performance, and keep production running efficiently throughout the shift.

Quality Inspection

Inspect parts throughout the production process using gauges and measuring devices to ensure products meet quality standards. Identify defects and notify supervisors of any quality concerns.

Production Support

Package finished products, replenish materials, complete production documentation, maintain work areas, and assist with other manufacturing duties as assigned.

In addition, you will follow all safety procedures, maintain production standards, and work closely with team members to support daily production goals.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, machine operation, or production experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions.
  • Experience using gauges, measuring devices, or inspection equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to safely handle parts weighing up to 28 lbs. throughout the shift.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Skills

  • Attention to Detail:  Ability to identify quality concerns and defective parts.
  • Mechanical Aptitude:  Comfortable operating manufacturing equipment and automated machinery.
  • Safety Awareness:  Commitment to following all safety requirements and procedures.

Work Environment
This position is performed in a manufacturing environment. Employees should be comfortable standing for extended periods, working around machinery, and performing repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
