Location: Bremen, IN
Shift: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM | Monday–Friday
Pay: $19.00/hour

Job Summary
We're looking for a detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you'll operate automated inspection equipment, monitor product quality, and package finished components to ensure they meet customer specifications. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, enjoys working independently, and is committed to producing high-quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Machine Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
  • Operating Production Equipment: Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and monitor automated inspection and production equipment to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Performing Quality Inspections: Conduct visual and dimensional inspections on finished components while identifying and reporting non-conforming products.
  • Packaging Finished Products: Package completed parts, assign lot numbers and shipping labels, and complete required production paperwork.
  • Material Handling: Load parts into equipment by hand or with material handling devices and transport finished products throughout the facility using a forklift when required.
  • Maintaining Production Records: Accurately complete production tickets, quality reports, and other required documentation.
  • Maintaining a Safe Work Environment: Keep workstations clean, organized, and follow all company safety procedures.
In addition, you will move materials between workstations, support production goals, and assist with other manufacturing duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment preferred.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Forklift experience preferred or willingness to become certified.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and push carts weighing up to 500 pounds.
Skills
  • Machine Operation: Ability to safely operate and monitor production equipment.
  • Quality Inspection: Ability to perform visual and dimensional inspections while identifying non-conforming parts.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable troubleshooting equipment and learning new manufacturing processes.
  • Documentation: Ability to accurately complete production records, quality reports, and shipping paperwork.
  • Material Handling: Experience safely moving materials throughout a manufacturing facility.
  • Safety Awareness: Commitment to following allEL company safety procedures and maintaining a clean work environment.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to push carts weighing up to 500 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
