Machine Operator - 1st Shift - $17/hr - Canton, MI
Join a Growing Team Producing Advanced Carbon Fiber Materials!
Responsibilities:
- Run machines producing carbon fiber materials at various stages including mixing, layering, stranding, and curing
- Measure and prepare materials, load and unload parts, and tie knots as needed
- Inspect product quality throughout the production process
- Assist with light mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting
- Follow safety procedures to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work between two or more machines, staying on your feet and walking throughout the shift
- Manually move spindles or perform other physically demanding tasks
Qualifications/Skills:
- Comfortable working on your feet with frequent walking and some physical labor
- Ability to follow safety protocols and work safely around industrial machinery
- Willingness to work in an environment where epoxy is mixed on-site (chemical odors present)
- Ability to work in a steady, repetitive pace and maintain quality standards
