A local Montague effervescent manufacturer is looking for Packagers/Inspectors to join their growing team on 1st shift! Hours are 5:00am-3:30pm (Monday-Thursday.) Overtime as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Self-starter with high level of motivation
- Strong attention to detail
- High school diploma or GED
- Good communication skills
- Previous packaging experience preferred
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to pay strong attention to detail, and have excellent dexterity
- Ability to follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), safety precautions, and regulations
- Ability to read and follow directions, complete paperwork and communicate effectively.
- Ability to concentrate and focus on task under stressful and/or distracting conditions
- Ability to be a team player; good interpersonal skills
- Ability to solve basic math problems, solve practical problems, and make good decisions.
- Ability to follow good health and hygiene practices including gowning
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position – must be able to lift 10-25 lbs. repeatedly
Packagers/Inspectors are required to makes sure all finished product meets GMP standards, package final products and tear down and clean machines once production is finished. This is a full-time temporary to permanent position.
