Machine Repair Technician, up to $22/hr – Madison Heights, MI
We are seeking a
Machine Repair Technician
for our client in Madison Heights, MI. This position is with a company that manufactures and sells plastic hot runners. The ideal candidate will have wiring and machine repair experience, specifically with plastic injection molding machines, but they are also open to training someone with general mechanical and electrical knowledge.
Shift & Schedule:
- 7:00am – 3:30pm (Day shift)
Qualifications:
- Experience in machine repair (plastic injection molding experience preferred)
- Basic electrical and wiring knowledge required
- General mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot
- Ability to read and follow technical manuals and diagrams
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and grow into the role with on-the-job training
Skills & Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain machinery and equipment, with a focus on plastic injection molding machines
- Perform troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical systems
- Assist in wiring and re-wiring equipment as needed
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime
- Keep accurate maintenance and repair records
