CNC Milling Operator / Programmer

Location: Brighton, MI Shift:  1st and 2nd Shift  Pay: Based on Experience (BOE)

Job Summary
Are you an experienced CNC machinist or programmer looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking skilled CNC Milling Operators and Programmers to support the manufacturing of industrial components in Brighton, MI.
This is a great opportunity for experienced candidates who enjoy precision machining, working independently, and contributing to high-quality production in a fast-paced environment. Openings are available on both 1st and 2nd shift, with advanced programming experience required for the programmer role.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a CNC Milling Operator / Programmer, your core responsibilities will include:

• Operate CNC milling machines to manufacture industrial components including chains, wheels, rollers, conveyors, cartridge-style bearings, and levelers
• Read and interpret blueprints, CNC programs, and work instructions
• Set up and run CNC milling jobs with minimal supervision
• Perform tool changes and offsets to maintain part quality and production efficiency
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to verify specifications
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot production issues as needed
• Maintain production quality and meet output goals

For 2nd Shift MasterCAM Programmer:
• Program and operate large bridge mills using MasterCAM
• Manage machine setups, optimize cycle times, and troubleshoot machining issues
• Support continuous improvement and efficient production processes

What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 4 years of CNC milling experience required for both shifts
• 2nd Shift Programmer candidates must have a minimum of 8 years of CNC machining and programming experience
• Mazak experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Skills:
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Experience using precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Strong CNC setup, troubleshooting, and machining knowledge
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
