Entry-Level Machinist
Location: Whitehall, MI
Shift: 3rd
Pay: $15+ per hour
Job Summary
Are you mechanically inclined and interested in starting a career in manufacturing? We’re seeking an Entry-Level Machinist to join a growing team. In this role, you’ll assist with operating machinery, producing precision parts, and ensuring quality standards are met. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is eager to learn a skilled trade.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assist with operating CNC and/or manual machines
- Load and unload materials and parts
- Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
- Read and follow basic blueprints and work instructions
- Perform basic machine maintenance and keep work area clean
- Use hand tools and measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers
- Follow all safety and production guidelines
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
- Basic math and measurement skills
Skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
- Dependable with good attendance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
