Machine Tool & Die, $20.00-$25.00/hr-Elkhart, IN
Interested in working in a team oriented, industrial environment? This company wants to hire you full time! Temporary to direct hire opportunity! This person will work from blueprints and sketches to create or modify tools, dies, jigs and molds, bringing with them their own tools to complete tasks.
Qualifications:
- Perform tooling repairs on dies, fixtures and any type of equipment that may need machined repaired
- Assess die damage and/or wear and investigate repair alternatives
- Troubleshoot problem dies, and processes
- Use appropriate measuring gages as needed
- Operate all tool room equipment
- Participate in QS functioning pertaining to production
- Other duties as assigned by the tool room supervisor
Skills:
- Must be able to perform each of the essential duties satisfactorily
- Have at least 1 year of tool & die experience
- Individual must be able to understand basic blueprint, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
- Must have mathematical skills
- This individual must have great written and oral communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. As well as stand for at least 7 hours a day
- Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
