What You'll Be Doing
As a Maintenance General Repair II Associate, your core responsibilities will include:
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, facilities, and electrical systems in a stamping and welding assembly plant.
- Dismantling defective machines, installing new or repaired parts, and performing preventative maintenance.
- Repairing and troubleshooting automated machinery, including robotics and conveyors.
- Installing and repairing electrical apparatus such as transformers, wiring, and other components.
- Using machine tools such as lathes, grinders, drills, and milling machines to fabricate or repair parts.
In addition, you will also be expected to perform maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic systems, follow all OSHA safety guidelines, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license, hi-lo license, and crane license required.
Prior experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, or electrical work preferred.
Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
- Basic understanding of PLC programming principles and safety techniques.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and mechanical skills.
- Ability to operate welding and cutting equipment to repair metal structures and components.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management abilities.
