Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a 1st shift Maintenance professional to join our team in Howard City, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us to
ensure smooth manufacturing operations by maintaining our equipment and facilities in a small local manufacturing shop.
What You'll Be Doing
As a 1st shift Maintenance professional, your core responsibilities will include:
- Building and Grounds Maintenance : Performing required maintenance on the facility and grounds, as well as maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting : Working with minor electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, robotics, and general machine maintenance, including troubleshooting and maintaining mechanical equipment to manufacturing specifications.
- Quality & Compliance : Utilizing quality concepts including SPC to inspect, grade, and document part condition, ensuring ISO-9001/IATF 16949 standards are met.
In addition, you will also be expected to
assist in other projects
including installing new machines/equipment and change outs.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Education : High School diploma/GED.
- Experience : 2 years experience in maintenance, including building/grounds/robotic maintenance.
- Physical Requirements : Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Skills:
- Technical Knowledge : Proficiency in working with minor electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, robotics, and general machine maintenance, and using hand tools.
- Preventative Maintenance : Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
- Safety & Detail : Ability to read, write, and comply with safety procedures, and a strong attention to detail.
