Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team in Coopersville, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us to ensure the reliable and safe operation of all industrial equipment and facility infrastructure.
What You'll Be Doing
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, your core responsibilities will include:
- Mechanical & Preventative Maintenance : Diagnose and resolve mechanical failures through troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime.
- Systems Troubleshooting : Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install industrial electrical and hydraulic systems to ensure all machinery operates safely and efficiently.
- Fabrication and Repair : Perform various fabrication and welding tasks to repair and modify machinery and structural components.
In addition, you will also be expected to perform comprehensive facility maintenance and upkeep, including the repair and preventative maintenance of industrial automotive equipment (forklifts, skid steers, etc.).
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in industrial mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic maintenance.
- Ability to safely operate heavy equipment (forklifts, scissor lifts, front end loader) and comfortably perform work at heights.
Skills:
- Strong Troubleshooting Skills : Quickly and accurately identify, diagnose, and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues to minimize production delays.
- System Knowledge : Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints for industrial electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Safety Focus : A strong commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and maintenance procedures for a safe working environment.
