Maintenance, 2nd shift Clare MI $16.50/hr
Summary:
Under supervision of the Manager, directly responsible for the safe and timely execution of a variety of, equipment repairs, and building and ground maintenance of all plant locations. Accountable for being self-motivated while producing high quality work at an efficient rate in cooperation with your Associates.
The responsibilities listed in the job descriptions are not intended to be all-inclusive. Additional duties may be assigned on an as required basis. Work on all types of machinery throughout all plant locations: Paint line tanks, forklifts, Automobiles, lasers, etc.
Clean industrial machinery daily.
Removal of ice and snow.
Ground maintenance; weed, sweep, and wash building and grounds.
Grease machinery, automobiles, semi-trucks, long haul trailers, and sales delivery trailers
Loading dock and garage door preventative maintenance
Safety Equipment inspections
Inspect/Maintain rooftop HVAC systems as necessary.
Keep work area clean, safe and in compliance with state and federal regulations and Company safety policies.
Report all injuries, safety violations, hazard incidents to Manager immediately so we can have an accident free and healthier work environment.
Responsible and accountable for quality work at an efficient rate within a reasonable time frame upon assignment to any one of a variety of jobs.
Update and follow maintenance schedule; Keep preventative maintenance on schedule and recorded.
Requisitioning of machine part and maintenance supplies daily.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.
High school education, basic math skills, basic mechanical-electrical-building knowledge, basic tool knowledge-read a tape measure, operate a grease gun and power washer.
Physical ability to kneel, stoop, crawl, crouch, lift, work overhead and laying down. Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Analytical ability to prioritize, multitask and solve issues that arise.
Ability to effectively listen and absorb information to further communicate with operators and techs.
Ability to follow direction, continuously improve and learn.
