Maintenance Manager, up to $45/hr – Plymouth
We’re seeking an experienced
Maintenance Manager
with a strong background in heat treat operations to oversee the maintenance department at our facility. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment, systems, and infrastructure remain safe, reliable, and efficient. The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership skills and hands-on technical expertise in heat treating machinery and facility maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or Supervisor in a heat treat facility
- Strong knowledge of heat treat equipment, furnaces, and related systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical issues
- Hands-on experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and industrial compliance regulations
- Proficiency in using CMMS or other maintenance tracking systems
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license required
- Forklift certification a plus
Skills & Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all maintenance activities for facility, equipment, and production support systems
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for heat treat equipment and related machinery
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and oversee repairs to minimize downtime
- Supervise, train, and mentor maintenance technicians, ensuring safety and efficiency at all times
- Collaborate with production and operations leadership to prioritize maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and compliance documentation
- Support capital projects, upgrades, and equipment installations
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Maintain vendor relationships for parts, service, and outside contractors
- Actively drive continuous improvement of maintenance processes and efficiency
