Location: Portland, MI Shift: 3rd Shift Pay: $31–35 per hour

As a Machine Maintenance Technician, your core responsibilities will include:

- Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment to maximize performance and reliability.
- Equipment Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment failures, responding quickly to minimize production downtime.
- Equipment Installation & Maintenance: Install, adjust, maintain, inspect, and repair manufacturing machinery while accurately documenting maintenance activities.
In addition, you will also be expected to troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, read and interpret blueprints and schematics, maintain maintenance supply inventory, follow all safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout, assist with continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work overtime and weekends as needed.
Skills:
- Mechanical & Electrical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to effectively maintain and repair equipment.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to diagnose industrial automation equipment, read electrical and mechanical schematics, and troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment.
- Problem Solving & Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively while demonstrating strong communication and problem-solving skills.
