to join our team in Canton, MI. In this role, you’ll use your mechanical expertise to keep slitters, blanking lines, and other production machinery running at peak performance. What You'll Be Doing
As a Maintenance Technician, your core responsibilities will include:
- Performing Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain slitters, blanking lines, and other heavy machinery to minimize downtime.
- Conducting Preventative Maintenance: Inspect equipment and complete scheduled servicing to prevent mechanical failures.
- Supporting Production Teams:
Collaborate with operators and supervisors to resolve equipment issues quickly and safely.
In addition, you will also be expected to assist with facility repairs and improvements as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Proven maintenance experience with slitters, blanking lines, or heavy industrial equipment
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in an active, hands-on environment
- Commitment to safety and reliability
