Maintenance Technician
to join our team. In this role, you will perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance on machinery and equipment while supporting overall facility operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a
Maintenance Technician
, your core responsibilities will include:
- Machinery Maintenance: Perform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs on industrial machinery.
- Preventative Maintenance: Dismantle, assemble, and install machinery while following maintenance schedules and job orders.
- Equipment Support: Assist operators in diagnosing equipment malfunctions and recommend improvements for production efficiency.
- Facility Support: May assist with janitorial services, landscaping, trash removal, snow removal, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing tasks.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities for OSHA, ISO, and other regulatory compliance. In addition, you will follow all safety regulations, blueprints, and specifications while suggesting improvements to equipment, workflows, and work conditions to increase efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of related maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Expertise in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Trained in welding, tooling maintenance, and preventative maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and machinery manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Skills:
- Technical Knowledge: Ability to perform complex maintenance tasks safely and effectively.
- Communication: Read, interpret, and write reports, safety documentation, and work instructions.
- Physical Capability: Frequently lift/move up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 40 lbs; stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the shift.
- Teamwork & Initiative: Collaborate effectively with operators and supervisors while recommending improvements.
