What You'll Be Doing
As a Manual and Surface Grind Operator
, your core responsibilities will include:
- Set up and operate manual surface and jig grinding machines to produce precision tooling.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to meet tight tolerances.
- Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, indicators, bore gauges, etc.) to verify part accuracy.
- Monitor and adjust machines to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on grinding equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of manual grinding experience (jig grinding experience a plus).
- Strong understanding of grinding principles, setups, and GD&T.
- Ability to hold tight tolerances and fine surface finishes.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Team player with strong communication and a commitment to quality.
