Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Material Handler/Picker to join our team in Howard City MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us to ensure efficient material flow and inventory control.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Material Handler/Picker, your core responsibilities will include:
- Heavy Lifting : Must be able to do heavy lifting, 50+ pounds.
- Standing for Extended Periods : Stand for 8 hours, with overtime if needed.
- Material Pulling : Read work order / Computer to pull required material.
In addition, you will also be expected to control inventory in designated work areas.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Skills:
- Basic math skills: Essential for accurate inventory control and order verification.
- Ability to read work orders/computer: Crucial for pulling required materials efficiently.
- Inventory control: Important for maintaining an organized and accurate designated work area.
