Job Summary
Manufacturing Technician to ensure the proper execution of assembly and commissioning processes for next-generation fuel cell system solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a start-up manufacturing environment and be capable of setting and meeting goals with limited oversight.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain work instructions for fuel cell classes
- Commission units during production, including software, visual, and functional checks
- Troubleshoot fuel cell function during commissioning
- Participate in cross-functional problem-solving processes
- Maintain floor layouts and improve production floor processes
- Monitor production assembly and subassembly processes
- Collaborate with Engineering to improve assembly processes and design builds
- Assist with unit builds as needed
- Support warranty analysis and troubleshooting on serviceable units
- Provide technical service support to customers
- Assist the service team in testing, troubleshooting, and correcting returned units
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or higher degree
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing-related field
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Experience with troubleshooting circuits and CAN networks or other communication protocols
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (1+ year) or similar CAD program

- Experience in continuous improvement projects
- Ability to problem-solve independently and with others
- Excellent planning, organizational, and project management skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
