Job Summary
Workbox Staffing is hiring
Material Handlers / General Laborers
to support operations in a clean electronics manufacturing environment. This role focuses on picking and packing light products, performing quality checks, building pallets, and
assisting
with general labor duties. The ideal candidate will have prior manufacturing or warehouse experience and be comfortable working in a moderate-paced production setting.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Material Handler / General Laborer, your core responsibilities
will include:
- Picking & Packing: Pick and pack light boxes accurately for shipment.
- Quality Checks: Perform light inspections on parts to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Material Handling: Move products and materials throughout the facility as needed.
- General Labor Support: Assist with other warehouse and production duties as assigned.
Additional
responsibilities may include
maintaining
an organized work area and supporting the team to ensure smooth daily operations.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience required
- Ability to read and write in English
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
Skills & Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs repetitively
- Comfortable performing physical tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to work at a moderate pace in a production environment
- Attention to detail when performing quality checks
Shift & Employment Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Environment: Electronics factory that is well-lit with a friendly team and moderate pace of work
- PPE Required: Steel-toe boots required ; safety vests provided on-site
