Workbox Staffing is hiring
Material Handlers / General Laborers
for a part-time opportunity in a paint warehouse environment.
This role involves handling materials, supporting warehouse operations, and working around paint and liquid chemicals. The ideal candidate is reliable, comfortable in a physically demanding and industrial setting, and has prior warehouse or manufacturing experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Material Handler / General Laborer, your core responsibilities will include:
- Pour-Off Operations: Assist with transferring and handling liquid materials as needed.
- Loading & Unloading: Help load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain organization of materials and inventory within the warehouse.
- Palletizing Shipments: Build and prepare pallets for outgoing shipments.
- General Labor Support: Assist with various warehouse and production tasks as assigned.
Additional
duties may include
maintaining
a clean work area and supporting daily operational needs.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment required
- Comfortable working around paint and liquid chemicals
- Must be able to follow call-in procedure s
Skills & Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs
- Comfortable working in a dirty, paint-based environment with strong odors
- Ability to perform physical labor throughout the shift
- Must be able to work in a moderate-paced environment
- No asthma due to work conditions
Shift & Employment Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Part-time (20 hours per week)
Work Environment & PPE Requirements
- Environment: Paint warehouse; dirty conditions with strong paint odors; moderate pace of work
- PPE Required: Steel-toe boots required
- Dress Code: Pants and shirt required; must be prepared to get dirty
