for an opportunity to showcase your skills in a fast-paced environment? We’re seeking a reliable and safety-conscious material handler to support our warehouse and production teams.
Responsibilities:
- This job is 1/2 manual stacking/building of loads and 1/2 Forklift Operation.
- Safe movement of products throughout the facility using a forklift
- Perform daily forklift checklists and notify supervisors of any issues
- Tasks may include manual stacking of pallets/loads, loading/unloading products to assembly lines, scanning products using RF hand scanners, inspecting and labeling products
Qualifications/Skills:
- 2 years of Forklift experience; handheld scanner experience is also required
- Must pass the W F Whelan material handler forklift aptitude test
- Able to operate a forklift with a clutch
- Pass the STA-Security Threat Assessment test
- Willing to do manual labor in regards to stacking loads
- Willingness to work overtime on short notice
As our Material Handler, you will safely move products throughout the facility using an electric forklift, perform daily equipment checks, and report any maintenance needs. Your tasks will include
manually
stacking pallets, loading and unloading products for assembly lines, scanning items with RF hand scanners,
and
inspecting and labeling
products. This
role is in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
