1st Shift - Material Handler - $16-$18/hr - Grand Rapids, MI

Preferred Skills:
- Completing shipments by processing and loading orders.
- Preparing orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in the delivery area.
- Maintaining trucks or vans by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
- Enforcing inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.
- Providing quality service by following organization standards.
- Completing reports by entering required information.
- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- 1 Year of Forklift and Warehouse experience in a distribution environment required.
- High school diploma/GED preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, patience, and flexibility.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the willingness to work as part of a team.
- Ability to read and write; count and verify numbers.
- Must pass Hi-Lo Certification within one week.
- Frequently standing, twisting, pushing, pulling and walking.
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs on a consistent basis.
In this role you will be
responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, managing, organizing and retrieving stock, etc.
