Job Summary
Are you a motivated and dependable individual who enjoys hands-on work? We're seeking a Material Handler to join our team in Muskegon, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping move, process, and document materials while maintaining production efficiency and high-quality standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Material Handler, your core responsibilities will include:

Metal Processing (80%): Sort, grade, weigh, and document metals for industrial accounts while safely operating equipment such as hilo, skid steer, shears, hand tools, and bailers.

Shipping & Receiving (20%): Assist with incoming and outgoing shipments, including backup support for the Shipping & Receiving Lead.

Communication & Coordination: Work with commercial stakeholders to ensure smooth material handling operations.
In addition, you will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized work environment, including housekeeping tasks in the warehouse and outside areas.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in material handling

Ability to work in hot, medium- to fast-paced environments

Able to work independently and in small teams

Consistently meet production and quality standards
Skills:

Physical Strength: Ability to do repetitive lifting up to 75 lbs as needed.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills for clear coordination.

Attention to Detail: Ensure accurate documentation and high-quality material handling.

Teamwork: Work effectively in a collaborative environment.
