Material Handler
Location: Norton Shores, MI
Pay: $15/hour
Job Summary
Are you a dependable and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We’re seeking a Material Handler to join our team in Norton Shores. In this role, you’ll support daily warehouse and production operations by moving materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring materials are delivered where needed in a safe and efficient manner.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Moving raw materials from receiving to storage and production areas
- Transporting finished goods from production to shipping
- Assisting with inventory control, cycle counts, and inventory transactions
Helping maintain organized work areas, stock corrugated cardboard supplies, assemble shipping crates, and support shipping, receiving, and stockroom operations as needed
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous warehouse, stockroom, or material handling experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and stand/walk for extended periods
Skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
