Job Summary
Workbox Staffing is hiring a Material Handler
in Dexter, MI. This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who enjoys staying active and wants to grow within a company. In this role, you’ll support both production and shipping by moving materials, packaging products, and assisting with general warehouse operations in a temperature-controlled environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Material Handler, your core responsibilities will include:
- Material Movement: Transport incoming products to workstations and move finished goods to the shipping area
- Order Picking: Pick and prepare orders accurately as needed
- Packaging: Package products for shipment to ensure safe delivery
- Equipment Use: Utilize dollies, electric pallet jacks, and occasionally a forklift
- General Warehouse Support: Assist with various warehouse and production tasks as assigned
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehousing or material handling required
- Ability to pull and maneuver a 50 lb. dolly
- Strong desire to grow with the company
Skills & Physical Requirements:
- Physically fit and able to walk and stay active throughout the shift
- Comfortable performing manual material handling tasks
- Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented
