Material Handler
to join our team in
Dexter, MI.
In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us to support production flow and ensure high-quality precision components are moved, processed, and shipped efficiently.
What You'll Be Doing
As a
Material Handler
, your core responsibilities will include:
- Material Transport: Move parts and materials between departments to keep production and warehouse operations running smoothly.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prep products for shipment to ensure accurate and timely customer deliveries.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, dollies, and occasionally a forklift to handle materials throughout the facility.
In addition, you will also be expected to assist with washing and degreasing parts, follow written and verbal instructions for part processing, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- 1-3 Years prior material handling experience is required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Good communication and teamwork
Skills:
- Basic Computer Skills: Needed to support inventory tracking and order processing.
- Communication & Teamwork: Important for collaborating effectively with production and warehouse teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Essential for accurate handling, packaging, and processing of precision components.
