Job Summary
Workbox Staffing is hiring a Material Mover for AGS Company Automotive Solutions in Muskegon! This position plays a critical role in the Distribution Center by ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of products throughout warehouse operations. Responsibilities include receiving inbound freight, picking and preparing outbound orders, staging shipments, and maintaining an organized and compliant warehouse environment. This is a fast-paced, physical role requiring reliability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to quality.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Unload inbound shipments using manual and powered equipment
- Verify incoming product against purchase orders, bills of lading, and packing lists
- Inspect freight for damage or shortages and report discrepancies
- Label, sort, and store received products in designated locations
- Pack outbound orders according to customer and carrier requirements
- Apply labels, documentation, and packaging materials to shipments
- Assist with loading outbound trailers and verifying shipping manifests
- Move products safely using pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts, or reach trucks
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications & Skills)
- Previous warehouse, distribution center, or fulfillment experience preferred
- Experience operating pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklifts is a plus
- Ability to read and follow pick lists, shipping documents, and labels accurately
- Basic math skills for inventory and order verification
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand for 8–10 hour shifts
- Forklift certification or RF scanner/WMS experience preferred
