Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic, up to $33/hr – Woodhaven, MI – 1st Shift

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a diesel or heavy-duty truck mechanic required.
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred or willingness to obtain).
- Strong mechanical knowledge of Class 7 & 8 trucks, trailers, and related systems.
- Must have own tools.
Skills:
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections.
- Read and interpret repair manuals, technical service bulletins, and wiring diagrams.
- Use diagnostic software and electronic testing equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
As a Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a fleet of heavy-duty trucks and trailers. This includes engine work, brake repairs, electrical diagnostics, hydraulic systems, and more. You’ll play a key role in keeping equipment road-ready and DOT compliant. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with excellent pay and the chance to be hired in directly.
