Metal Fabricator/Polisher
Location: Fort Wayne, IN
Shift: 1st Shift (Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:30pm)
Pay: $19.00–$22.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Metal Fabricator/Polisher to join our team in Fort Wayne, IN. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping fabricate and finish high-quality metal components used in airport casework while ensuring precision and superior craftsmanship.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Metal Fabricator/Polisher, your core responsibilities will include:
● Metal Fabrication: Cut, shape, and assemble metal components according to specifications using appropriate fabrication tools and equipment.
● Polishing & Finishing: Grind, sand, and polish metal surfaces to achieve a smooth, high-quality finish that meets company standards.
● Quality & Safety Compliance: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet strict quality guidelines while following all safety procedures.
In addition, you will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized work area and assist the production team in meeting daily output goals.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
● Metal fabrication, polishing, or related manufacturing experience preferred
● High school diploma or equivalent preferred
● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
● Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout a 10-hour shift
● Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
Skills:
● Tool Proficiency: Experience using grinders, polishers, and other fabrication tools safely and effectively.
● Attention to Detail: Ability to produce smooth, high-quality finishes that meet detailed specifications.
● Teamwork & Communication: Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a production environment.
