MIG/TIG Welder 

Location: Holland, MI
Shift: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM | Two Days per Week
Pay: $18.00–$22.00/hour 

Job Summary 

We're looking for an experienced MIG/TIG Welder to join our team in Holland, MI. In this part-time role, you'll repair and restore industrial racks by replacing damaged components, straightening bent sections, and performing quality MIG and TIG welding. The ideal candidate has strong fabrication skills, attention to detail, and experience with repair welding. 

What You'll Be Doing 

As a MIG/TIG Welder, your core responsibilities will include: 

  • Rack Repair: Repair damaged industrial racks by welding broken or worn components back into place. 

  • Component Replacement: Replace missing or damaged rollers and other rack components. 

  • Frame & Arm Straightening: Straighten bent rack arms and frames to restore proper alignment and functionality. 

  • MIG & TIG Welding: Perform quality MIG and TIG welds to ensure durable, long-lasting repairs. 

  • Quality Inspection: Inspect completed repairs to ensure racks meet quality and safety standards before returning to service. 

In addition, you will maintain a clean and organized work area while following all company safety procedures. 

What We're Looking For 

Qualifications 

  • Previous MIG and TIG welding experience required. 

  • Experience with fabrication or repair welding preferred. 

  • Ability to read and use basic measuring tools. 

  • Ability to work independently. 

  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. 

Skills 

  • MIG & TIG Welding: Proficient in performing high-quality welds on industrial equipment and components. 

  • Mechanical Aptitude: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to produce quality workmanship while maintaining safety standards. 

  • Tool Operation: Ability to safely use hand and power tools. 

  • Organization: Strong organizational and time management skills. 

  • Safety Awareness: Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. 

Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods. 

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed. 

  • Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift. 

  • Ability to safely operate welding equipment, hand tools, and power tools. 

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to welding fumes, noise, and production equipment.
