MIG Welder

Job Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable MIG Welder to join a manufacturing team in Muskegon, MI. This position is responsible for performing MIG welding on metal components while ensuring quality workmanship and maintaining a safe work environment. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting and have a strong attention to detail.
What You'll Be Doing
- Perform MIG welding on a variety of metal components and assemblies
- Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and welding specifications
- Inspect welds and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Operate welding equipment and other fabrication tools safely and efficiently
- Grind, clean, and prepare materials for welding as needed
- Maintain production goals while ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Follow OSHA/MIOSHA safety procedures, rules, and regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S procedures and processes
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- Previous MIG welding experience required
- Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and welding diagrams
- Strong understanding of welding safety and quality standards
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
