Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a welding opportunity? We're seeking a MIG Welder to join our team in Sand Lake, MI. In this role, you’ll perform MIG welding on various parts while supporting production with additional equipment like drill presses and saws. This is a part-time position with overtime opportunities.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a MIG Welder, your core responsibilities will include:
- MIG Welding: Weld parts according to blueprints and specifications.
- Equipment Operation: Use drill presses and saws to cut parts as needed.
- Quality & Safety: Maintain a safe work environment while ensuring parts meet quality standards.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of MIG welding experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
Skills:
- Attention to Detail: Ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards.
- Physical Stamina: Able to stand all day, bend, twist, and lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with coworkers to complete production goals.
