Job Summary
Are you organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with production and shipping schedules? We’re seeking an
MP&L (Materials, Planning & Logistics) Coordinator
to support daily manufacturing and shipping operations. This role plays a key part in keeping orders on track, materials flowing, and documentation accurate to support on-time delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an
MP&L Coordinator
, your core responsibilities will include:
- Checking production “windows” to ensure jobs are completed on time.
- Confirming and closing out production and customer orders in the system.
- Preparing, reviewing, and processing shipping paperwork and documentation.
- Coordinating with production, shipping, and receiving teams to ensure smooth material flow.
- Monitoring inventory levels and assisting with basic inventory tracking.
- Updating schedules, logs, and reports related to orders and shipments.
- Communicating order status, shortages, or delays to internal teams.
- Supporting general logistics and materials planning tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in manufacturing, logistics, shipping, or materials coordination preferred.
- Comfortable working with computers and production/shipping systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Skills & Physical Requirements:
- Ability to manage paperwork accurately and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Basic understanding of inventory, shipping, or production processes is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility as needed.
