Office Clerk, $16.00-$18.00/hr-Ft. Wayne 
 
Come work for this local Fort Wayne Company supplying one of the highest rated cable reels across the US. This small, yet high volume production shop is looking for a member to join their skilled team as a full time Office clerk. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
  •  Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to office staff and management, including answering
  • phones, managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinaƟng meetings.
  •  Data Entry: Accurately enter and maintain data in various systems and databases. Always ensure data integrity
  • and confidentiality.
  •  Correspondence: Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, reports, and other documents as needed.
  • Proofread documents for accuracy and completeness.
  •  Filing and Organization: Maintain organized filing systems, both electronic and physical, to ensure easy retrieval
  • of documents and information. File documents accurately and promptly.
  •  Customer Service: Greet visitors and clients in a professional and courteous manner. Assist with inquiries and
  • provide information or assistance as needed.
  •  Office Supplies: Monitor and replenish office supplies as needed. Place orders for office supplies and equipment,
  • ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
  •  Mail Handling: Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages. Prepare outgoing mail and packages for shipment
  • using appropriate postage and mailing methods.
  •  Assistance with Projects: Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by management. Collaborate with
  • team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
 
Qualifications: 
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or training in office administration is a plus.
  • Previous experience in an office environment is preferred but not required. Willing to train the right candidate.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other office software skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate professionally with colleagues,
  • clients, and vendors.
  • Strong organizational skills and amazon to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage one effectively.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  •  Positive aƫtude, reliability, and willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic office environment.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends, as needed.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings, as required by company policy.
