Packager – $18/hr –Huger, SC

Qualifications:
● Ability to use tape measure, micrometers, and calipers
● Forklift Certification and/or Crane Training (or ability to obtain)
● Ability to comply with all safety rules and requirements
● Effective verbal and written communication skills
● Ability to lift/move up to 75 lbs as needed
Skills:
● Prepare skids to customer specifications
● Operate turnstile, down layer, banding line equipment, and crane for packaging
● Package materials per customer instructions and standard guidelines
● Identify and segregate products correctly
● Operate forklift and/or overhead crane for material movement
● Maintain clean and organized work areas
● Meet or exceed production standards
● Safely load, transport, unload, and stack materials
As a Packager, not only will you be setting up and operating banding equipment to prepare materials for shipment, but you’ll also play an important role in ensuring every order meets quality and safety standards. This job, depending on your work ethic, could be a short-term or a long-term fit.
