Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a 1st shift Packager to join our team in Le Roy, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us to support a local company in the manufacturing sector and training to become a skilled CNC or Tool & Die Maker.
What You'll Be Doing
As a 1st shift Packager, your core responsibilities will include:
- Packaging parts for shipments and deliveries
- Performing general labor tasks, including packing finished products and maintaining accurate inventory.
- Assisting with shipping and receiving duties, which involves picking orders and operating a hi-lo for loading/unloading and product storage.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Willingness to undergo on-the-job training (no prior experience is needed, but a good work history is required).
- Ability to stand for a 10-hour shift.
- Able to work a medium to fast pace and be available for overtime as needed (including Saturday & Sunday).
Skills:
- Basic Math Skills: necessary for counting inventory and completing order forms.
- Attention to Detail: essential for accurate packing, picking, and machine operation.
- Strong Work Ethic: demonstrated by a good work history and reliability.
