Job Title: Packaging Supervisor
Norton Shores, MI, 2nd Shift, $20–$28/hour
Job Summary
A growing company specializing in the manufacturing and development of high-performance adhesives, sealants, and coatings is seeking a Packaging Supervisor to help lead their dynamic team! In this role, you will oversee packaging operations, ensure production standards are met, and lead a team in a clean and comfortable facility. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and supervise a team of 8–12 employees on the packaging line
- Oversee daily packaging operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Prepare and organize batches of products for shipment
- Ensure all products are sorted and packaged according to work instructions
- Verify finished goods meet company and quality standards
- Support team members with training, guidance, and performance expectations
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Assist with production processes as needed, including lifting materials
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory experience required
- Proven leadership experience required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid math skills, including measurements, decimals, and conversions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Adhesives or glue manufacturing experience preferred
