Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We’re seeking a Packer to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of our operations, helping us to inspect and box the product for shipping! This is an opportunity for a permanent position with benefits available at hire.
What You'll Be Doing
As a
Packer
, your core responsibilities will include:
● Inspect and box chips for shipping.
● Assemble boxes, check label dates and seal.
● Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
In addition, you will also be expected to follow GMP standards and other duties as assigned. Assemble boxes, check label dates, and inspect seals on packaging.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
● Must be able to reach 6 ft high.
● Prior experience in food manufacturing.
● Able to lift up to 50 lbs max.
Skills:
● Experience in food manufacturing is preferred.
● Must be able to do basic math (add, subtract, divide and multiply).
● Must be able to stand and walk throughout the entire shift.
