Job Summary
Are you a dependable and detail-oriented individual with painting experience? We're seeking a Painter to join our team in Muskegon, MI. In this role, you'll prepare surfaces and apply wet coat paint to manufactured products while maintaining quality and safety standards.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Painter, your core responsibilities will include:
Prepare parts and surfaces for painting by cleaning, masking, and completing other required preparation.
Mix and apply wet coat paint according to job specifications.
Operate spray-painting equipment safely and efficiently.
Inspect finished products for proper coverage, color, and overall quality.
Complete touch-ups and correct minor paint defects as needed.
Clean and maintain painting equipment, tools, and work areas.
In addition, you will be expected to follow work instructions, safety procedures, and production schedules while working effectively with the team.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
Previous wet coat painting or industrial painting experience is preferred.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform regular bending, reaching, and lifting.
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Ability to follow paint specifications and written instructions.
Knowledge of surface preparation and spray-painting techniques.
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
