Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Painter
to join our team in Spring Lake, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us to deliver high-quality painted and powder-coated metal parts that meet precise customer standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Painter, your core responsibilities will include:
- Applying powder coat and wet paint finishes: Ensure parts are coated evenly and meet all quality and durability standards.
- Reading and interpreting work orders: Follow written procedures, part numbers, and operational instructions to complete each project accurately.
- Inspecting finished products: Review completed parts to ensure coatings meet company and customer expectations.
In addition, you will also be expected to work closely with your team to maintain productivity, safety, and a clean work environment.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a powder coater or wet coat painter required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Ability to read and interpret written procedures, part numbers, and operational instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work well in a team environment
Skills:
- Technical proficiency: Skilled in operating painting and coating equipment to achieve consistent, high-quality results.
- Quality inspection: Able to identify defects and ensure finished products meet all required specifications.
- Team collaboration: Work effectively with others to maintain smooth production flow and meet deadlines.
