Paint Line Unloader
Fruitport, MI, 3rd Shift, $17.00 per hour
Job Summary
Are you someone who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We’re looking for a reliable 3rd Shift Paint Line Unloader to join a team in the Fruitport area. In this role, you’ll be responsible for removing finished parts from a paint line, ensuring quality standards are met, and keeping production flowing efficiently.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Unload finished parts from a moving paint line in a timely manner
- Inspect parts for defects such as drips, uneven coating, or damage
- Sort and organize parts according to specifications
- Safely handle and stack painted materials to prevent damage
- Keep up with production pace to avoid line slowdowns
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper PPE usage
- Assist with other general production tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of quality inspection is a plus
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work efficiently and stay on task
- Dependable with good attendance
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
