Job Summary
Workbox Staffing is hiring a Panel Builder in Comstock Park, MI for an HVAC company. In this role, you’ll build custom electrical panels that are installed in industrial HVAC equipment. No electrical experience is required—we’ll train you on reading electrical prints and the panel building process.

Responsibilities for the Panel Builder
- Use hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, wire cutters/strippers) to build electrical panels
- Mount electrical devices such as transformers and drives to backplates
- Run and label wires between devices
- Read and follow electrical prints (training provided)
- Communicate with other departments to complete tasks
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all company safety requirements
- Work overtime as needed
Key Qualifications for the Panel Builder
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No electrical experience required (training provided)
- Strong willingness to learn and follow instructions
Preferred Skills for the Panel Builder
- Basic knowledge of hand tools
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read prints or schematics (beneficial but not required)
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Ability to stand for extended periods
